To get to Zambia, we crossed the Zambezi River by public ferry and walked across the border.

Today we are in Livingstone, Zambia, near Victoria Falls. We happened to arrive here on the country’s Independence Day. They are 39 years old today, having gained their independence from Britain in 1964.

With our trek in the Himalayas over, we made our way back to the airport. On the way to Delhi, we saw Kanchenjunga from afar (the third highest mountain in the world) as well as Everest from the plane window.
Costa Rica: Pacific Coast National Park and Nature
An eight day trip to Costa Rica provided a great opportunity to view nature and take part in many outdoor activities, including hiking, swimming, kayaking and snorkeling.

Our Rajasthan journey has taken us to Jodhpur – the last major city before reaching Pakistan (the border is less than 200 miles away). Jodhpur is known as the “Blue City”. It has this name because of the paint color used on so many of the buildings.
Cosmos: Brunei
After leaving Australia, we stopped in Brunei for 36 hours before continuing to Bangkok. This country, on the island of Borneo, is one of the wealthiest in the world.
Cosmos: Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, was our first stop in the country. It is a large city with many dirt roads off the major streets. During our two days there, we visited reminders of the Killing Fields period of the country’s history.
