We arrived in Paris to cold, winter weather. Sandy’s parents met us there and we spent the next few days sightseeing in Paris and in Chartres, about one hour south by train. There we visited the cathedral, one of the best examples of gothic architcture in Europe. We also enjoyed the great food and romantic atmosphere that makes Paris one of the world’s great cities.
